Escape to one of our private cabins, nestled under towering trees in Lake Lure and within view of Chimney Rock. Our one bedroom, one bath cabins and cottage sleep two. The three cabins were built in 2002 with Appalachian flat logs. The charming Hemlock cottage was converted from a workshop that was built in 1926. All are beautifully decorated with antiques, regional handcrafted furniture and collectibles. Each cottage and cabin features: Sumptuous king-size beds with wonderful linens Fireplaces with gas logs Private deck with hot tub under the stars A full kitchen in the cabins and a kitchenette in the cottage. All have coffee makers, microwaves, and utensils. Midnight snack of popcorn and soda. Breakfast goodies including fresh-baked bread, local farm-fresh eggs, homemade jams, juice, coffee, tea and butter. Color cable TV with 50 channels including HBO CD player and DVD complete with copies of Dirty Dancing and Last of the Mohicans (both were filmed nearby) for you to enjoy. Should your plans change, be sure to call us within the following guidelines to ensure a refund of your deposit less a $50.00 cancellation fee: 5 nights or less, 14 days notice. 6 nights or more 30 days notice If cancellation is made after the advance notice period, your deposit cannot be refunded. If cancellation is made within 24 hours before arrival, the full-stay charges will apply. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Traveler checks, and cash.
