From the East: Take Hwy. 64/74A West from Rutherfordton to Lake Lure. Or from I-26, take Hwy. 108 (right), then Hwy. 9 North to Lake Lure, and turn left on Hwy. 64/74A. Stay on Hwy. 64/74A West until you pass the Lake Lure Post Office. Turn right into the first driveway past the Post Office. From the West: Take Hwy. 74A East from Asheville to Lake Lure. Or take Hwy. 64 East from Hendersonville, or Hwy. 9 South from Black Mountain, and turn East on Hwy 64/74A toward Lake Lure. Stay on Hwy. 64/74A through Chimney Rock, past the Lake Lure Beach, past Subway, and the Medical Clinic. The Arbor is the first house on the left just past the clinic. Parking is on your left. Walk under the arbor by our welcoming bear for check-in and directions.

Weather Our unique location at the base of Blue Ridge Mountains gives us wonderful weather. Spring arrives earlier, fall lasts longer and our winters are milder than other mountain areas. Fall colors often extend into mid November!
