We have returned to our normal cancellation policies (see Rates and Reservations for details); we strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance if an unexpected change in your plans, such as a COVID infection in your household, would cause financial hardship. Be sure to select a policy that allows cancellation “for any reason” and does not exclude COVID; see, for example, www.insuremytrip.com.
We are fully vaccinated and healthy; however, if guests prefer, we will gladly wear masks during indoor interactions.
We are maintaining the same high standard of cleanliness that we always have, with a change in some of our products to meet official guidelines for disinfecting/sanitizing capability.
For the foreseeable future, we will not be offering early check-in or late check-out, due to our occupancy levels and time required to properly clean the cabins and maintain the hot tubs.
We still provide all bed and bath linens, breakfast supplies, paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, tissues), hand & dish soaps.
Due to demand, we are not currently offering any specials besides our usual discounted rates for longer stays (5% for 3 nights, 10% off for 4-6 nights, 20% off for 7+ nights).

Located just around the corner from the Lake Lure Beach and Marina and a short drive from Chimney Rock State Park, The Arbor Cabins have been one of Lake Lure's top lodging choices since 2001. The Arbor is conveniently located, yet private. Each cabin and the cottage has its own personality and all are mountain getaway gems providing first-class accommodations for two. The property is nestled under a beautiful tree canopy and provides ample seating areas to appreciate the natural surroundings and--if you're lucky--wildlife including our adorable flying squirrels, whitetail deer, hummingbirds and chameleons. The central pavilion provides guests with a large gas grill and outdoor dining area. All of our lodgings are carefully decorated with antiques, collectibles and regionally hand-crafted furniture.
